RASGULLA

  • Rasgulla is a milk based sweet made by curdling milk, draining the whey and kneading the milk solids to make balls. These balls are cooked in sugar syrup till they turn light and spongy.
  • It is popularly known as a Bengali Sweet.
  • These are prepared from milk which has high levels of calcium. Calcium and Vitamin D present in milk help in building healthy bones and teeth.
  • Apart from this, chenna (an indian cottage cheese) is good for heart health and improves digestion.
